Apple Valley Community

Apple Valley, located in San Bernardino County in the heart of Victor Valley, rests in the naturally beautiful Mohave High Desert. It is only 40 minutes away from Big Bear, Lake Arrowhead, and Wrightwood, and a 2 1/2 hours to Las Vegas.

The town of Apple Valley, also known as the "High Desert", was incorporated on November 28, 1988 with it's motto, "A Better Way of Life." It currently houses almost 60,000 residents and once was the home of Roy Rogers and Dale Evans.

Apple Valley Education

The residents of Apple Valley can proudly send their students to any of the 9 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, and 3 senior high schools. All fourteen schools are operated by the Apple Valley Unified School District. The Lewis Center for Academic Excellence is nationally recognized for it's hands-on math and science education.

Five private schools are available in Apple Valley that offer distinguished award-winning school curricula.

Apple Valley Housing

Apple Valley Real Estate is unique in many ways with it's affordable housing, ideal for the first-time buyer and for equestrian estates and executive manors. Jess Ranch is a master planned community in Apple Valley. Although homes are available to owners of any age, Jess Ranch was originally targeted by the developer, Del Webb, for senior living and retirement.

Also next to Apple Valley is the community of Spring Valley Lake which on one side is the lake community and the other side (closer to Victorville) are half-acre equestrian estates.

Desert Knolls and Stonebrook are also communities within the Apple Valley area. Stonebrook's community targets the professional with it's houses starting at $600,000.

Jess Ranch Community

Homes to more than 1,500 people and originally designed as a community for retirement living, Jess Ranch has opened it's gates to all ages. It's included a resort lifestyle for RV living and an Estate Gate Guard Golf Course community. Jess Ranch offers a wide range of amenities, leisure activities, and social opportunities.

Jess Ranch is located within the popular Apple Valley, home of Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. The community is ideal for the active lifestyle, especially with it's healthy, practically smog free, dry climate.

Located near and in the area of Jess Ranch is a Target Shopping Center, Merryl Gardens Care Center, the Victor Valley Museum, Apple Valley Christian Care, Nickie's Restaurant, Sun Country Bank, McDonald's, Denny's, and future 18-screen stadium theatre and entertainment center.

Jess Ranch Recreation

Located within the Jess Ranch Community is the David Rainville 18-hole golf course.  Fishing is available throughout the Jess Ranch Lakes stocked with catfish, bass, and trout weekly. The Jess Ranch lakes have provided recreational opportunities for anglers fishing for Rainbow trout for more than 50 years.

Jess Ranch also has two clubs, the Jess Ranch Social Club, and the Presidio Recreation Club for your enjoyment. The Victor Valley Museum is also located just a short walk from Jess Ranch. The museum provides a history and many interesting facts about the region.

Jess Ranch Real Estate : The Roxbury Estate

The Roxbury Estate is a non age-restricted community of 26 lots. These homes are located on the Jess Ranch Golf Course and are limited to homes over 3,000 square feet. Roxbury Estates range from $350,000 and up.

Jess Ranch Real Estate : RV Resort

You could own your own RV site in a gate guarded community all in Jess Ranch! The RV resort is designed for RVIA approved motor homes, travel trailers, 5th wheels, and special area for approved "Park Models" amenities.

Apple Valley is an ideal place to live, work, and play with it's low crime rates, clean air, and open spaces. There is plenty of opportunity for those seeking land in Apple Valley.

Apple Valley Recreation

Fifteen parks and facilities are fully operated and maintained by the Recreation Department of Apple Valley. Those who enjoy a round of golf can take advantage of the two 18-hole golf courses. Apple Valley is the ideal territory with it's extensive trails for the equestrian-oriented residents.

Also nearby is the Apple Valley Airport, the Victor Valley Museum & Art Gallery, the Lewis Center for Academic Excellence, the San Bernardino County Desert/Mountain Educational Service Center, and the Sunset Hills Memorial Park.

Out of 365 days in the year, Apple Valley will experience 350 days of the warm sunshine.  The winter brings temperatures that range from the low 20s to the high 70s. Summer brings a range of temperatures that have their low at 40 and up to 110 during the hottest months.
